Training courses

Welcome to the Palm Tree Nail Training academy.

Our courses are designed as foundation courses for beginners and have been created to meet the needs and expectations of every student. The certificates you gain on completion are recognised by the industry and are fully insurable

 
Course 1
Acrylic & Gel Tip & Overlay nail extensions. £299
3 day course (10am-5pm)
Day 1 – Hygiene, health & safety, Nail Anatomy, Nail diseases and disorders, salon conduct. Tip application demonstration.
Day 2 – Practical tip application, Acrylic, UV Acrylic and Gel application.
Day 3 – Acrylic and Gel in-fill demonstration and practical (students work on each other), tip removal. Theory test.
Followed by a ½ day practical assessment where student will be required to bring a model to the salon and demonstrate a full set of nails and some in-fills. On satisfactory completion of this assessment certificates will be awarded. This will take place whenever student feels ready.

Course 2
Manicure & Pedicure. £149
1 day course (10am-5pm)
Topics covered- Hygiene, health & safety, nail disorders and diseases, Hand & Foot anatomy, Client consultation cards, Step by step manicure and pedicure procedures, massaging techniques, nail polish application, theory test.
Certificates will be awarded at the end of the course providing student passes theory test and demonstrates satisfactory level of practical competence. (students will work on each other during the course )

Course 3
Nail Art. £100
1 day course (10am-5pm)
Topics covered- Application of nail varnish: French and colour, application of nail gems, glitter and foils. Freehand nail art painting techniques such as stripes and dots.
Certificates will be awarded on completion. (Students will practice on each other during the course.)
